Handmade, rustic, deep turquoise, forests, midnight green-blue jewel tones. They have ots of variance in color; no two are the same, but size and shape are fairly consistent bead to bead. African recycled glass. You'll get approximately 50 beads, roughly 13mm / 1/2" in diameter. (That's a large bead.) Large holes around 2-3mm. They will be on a strand of about 23". Each strand weighs over 4 ounces.

From Ghana, each bead is artisan-made from glass bottles and sometimes windows, crushed to a powder, mixed and blended, and kiln-baked in hand made clay molds. They are  tumbled and polished by hand usually with mud. These have a smooth, semi-matte finish with a subtle glow.

Artisans in Ghana have made beads basically this way for hundreds of years, using no electricity or machines. Each batch of glass is different in color and texture and mix.  And, since they're hand made with the artist's vision and personal style, it's impossible to know if we'll have more of these exact beads or not.
